SOLD OUT
Saturday is all about bluegrass and the way the music is being interpreted in different parts of the US.
First to stage are ‘Remedy Tree’ from Florida.
Featuring lyric-driven songs, foot-stomping energy, and heartwarming melodies, Remedy Tree blend their roots in old-time, folk, and traditional bluegrass music creating a truly unique Americana experience.
The second act to take to the stage is the fantastic Chris Luquette and Rick Faris.
Both are well known around the international bluegrass arena.
Chris plays regularly with Frank Sullivan Kitchen and recently formed his own quartet who have won the heart of bluegrass fans all over the world.
Award Winning Rick Faris will be known to Irish Bluegrass fans as the former lead singer and guitarist of Special Consensus, and more recently from his own solo projects.
This unique duo are performing both original compositions and bluegrass classics at the highest level.
Last to the stage are Ohio based ‘The Wayfarers’.
The band fuse tight musicianship - centered largely by the fiddle - with the high energy that characterized early mountain music. With old-time radio shows setting the example, their style encompasses Appalachian dance music, traditional mountain fiddle tunes, and pre-bluegrass music of the 1920's - resulting in a dose of nostalgic Americana.
